Videntifier ™ Forensic – Client Connection Troubleshooting

Most of the time, Videntifier™ Forensic will be able to reliably connect to the main servers. This list will be updated as we learn new tricks to get the Videntifier™ Forensic client connected securely and safely in different networking environments.

 

  • Make sure that Port 443, Port 80, and Port 19001 are open to outbound connections to *.videntifier.com
  • If your network configuration requires you to use a proxy server to connect to our servers, make sure that proxy support is enabled in the Videntifierr™ Forensic Client Preferences.
  • If you are using a local Fingerprint Extraction Unit (FEU), check its IP address and test the GUI connection to it in the Preferences pane.
